Terms:

 Orders require a 100% payment. Custom Gable Vents accepts Paypal, MasterCard, Visa and Discover and America Express cards to process your order.

Acknowledgment Confirmation: All orders accepted by Custom Gable Vents will be acknowledged by email within 24 hours of receipt of your order. Please check our acknowledgment carefully to make sure it corresponds exactly with your order. If there is any question of accuracy, please call or email immediately.

Written Quotations:

 All written quotes from Custom Gable Vents are valid for a period of 60 days from the date of the quotation, unless a written extension is given. A copy of written quotations must be submitted with your order.

Change Orders and Returns:

 Because most products are custom, no change orders or returns will be allowed without permission of Custom Gable Vents. Merchandise already in production is not subject to cancellation. Unauthorized returns will be refused at customer’s expense. In the event of the unusual circumstance, accepted returns are subject to a restocking charge of 20% of the purchased price plus shipping cost.

Installation:

 It is the responsibility of the customer to install and flash the gable vents properly. The gable vent(s) may be nailed or screwed to the wall by the nailing fin. Large vents should also be securely attached to the building through the frame. The nail fin does not provide adequate flashing alone. An L Flashing or Window/door tape flashing should be used over top of the nail fin and frame. If stucco, brick or rock is to be placed around the vent, the vent must be installed first to allow the proper flashing to be placed on top of the nailing fin. Window/door flashing tape is recommended over top of the nail fin. A 3/8" bead of 100 % silicone is recommended on the back of the unit when installed on wall surface.
